How Often Should I Feed My Ball Python?
If you are new to ball pythons and wondering how often they eat, the answer is quite simple. Baby ball pythons, like the ones we sell, will eat every 7 – 10 days. As your snake enters adulthood, 30 inches and above, it will be happy eating about every 2 – 3 weeks.

I have had and still have ball pythons for about 15 years now. I have always feed them once a week no matter the size. I have one ball that is 48 inches long right now and I feed her 3-4 live mice a week. She eats them 99% of the time. When she don’t eat in that week ill offer her every other day. She has also went for 4 months with out eating before but she is very heathy. She just went to vet a week ago. To what he said females are known ro stop eating when in heat or when the temp of cage is not right on. But I fed every week. Once again she is 48 inched long and 4 years old. And she is very active every night. So that may be the reason why she eats so good for me.
